Art Camps

Architecture & Design Camp (9-11 years old)

Have you ever seen a mimetic architecture in your life? Would you like to buy your milk while inside a milk bottle-shaped building? In this 5-days camp, students will learn what mimetic architecture is and see famous mimetic architectures all around the world. Students will explore the field of architecture through fun examples and hands-on practice. Specifically, find inspiration through various visual examples and everyday life; gain critical thinking as well as problem-solving skills through building architecture model. The camp begins with looking and sketching and then goes into building with everyday materials. The project allows students to think about personal habitats and community, i.e. what is architecture, what should it look like, how the design and shape of the architecture impact on the community?
